About
JBIMS is the management department of the University of Mumbai, set up in 1965 and autonomous since 2014. It sits at Churchgate in South Mumbai's business district and runs the two-year Master of Management Studies (MMS), a university degree equivalent to an MBA.
There is no separate institute application for the MMS. Seats are filled through the Maharashtra state Centralised Admission Process (CAP), run by the State CET Cell, with separate merit lists for Maharashtra and All India candidates. MAH-MBA/MMS CET, CAT and CMAT scores are accepted. Out-of-state CAT takers must still register for CAP within the CET Cell's July window, which is easy to miss.
The first year is common to all students; in the second year they specialise in finance, marketing, operations and supply chain, HR, or systems and digital business.
For the 2024–26 MMS batch, figures reported from the final placements give a median CTC of ₹26.15 LPA, an average of ₹26.67 LPA and a highest of ₹80.00 LPA. The fee is not shown here because the official fee documents could not be read; check them on the JBIMS admissions page.
Cutoff
The percentile of the last candidate called (or admitted) in the latest cycle, from the institute where it publishes this, otherwise as reported for that cycle. Where no actual figure is out yet, the expected call percentile is shown and labelled. This is the reality check next to the minimum.
