About
IIM Kozhikode was set up in 1996 by the Government of India with the Kerala government. Its flagship PGP began in 1997 with 42 students and now sits alongside PGP-Finance and PGP-Liberal Studies & Management on the main Kozhikode campus; executive programmes run from a separate campus in Kochi.
The 2027–29 admission policy had not been posted by 1 November 2026. Under the 2026–28 policy, the WAT-PI shortlist used an Aggregate Index Score: CAT 50%, Class XII 20%, Class X 15%, gender and academic diversity 10% and 5%, and work experience 5%. The final merit list weighed CAT 35%, the PI 35%, the WAT 20% and the resume 10%, so the written test carries real weight.

The 2024–26 placement report was not published when checked. For 2023–25, IIMK reports a median CTC of ₹27.50 LPA, a mean of ₹28.18 LPA and a highest of ₹81.00 LPA across PGP, PGP-Finance and PGP-LSM, with consulting taking 32%, followed by finance.
