About
SPJIMR, run by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan trust at Andheri in Mumbai, shortlists differently from most CAT schools. It screens applicants on their profile first, and the CAT or GMAT score only has to clear a fixed minimum rather than top a ranking. For the 2027–29 PGDM, that minimum is the 85th percentile overall and the 75th in each CAT section.
CAT and GMAT are the only exams accepted for the PGDM; XAT is not. Freshers and candidates with up to five years of paid work experience after graduation can apply, and shortlisted candidates go through two rounds of group interviews.
The two-year PGDM has 240 seats and offers majors in marketing, finance, operations and supply chain, and information management. The institute holds AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA accreditation, and the PGDM is NBA-accredited.
The Class of 2026 was fully placed: 356 students with a median CTC of ₹32.85 LPA, and consulting took the largest share of offers. The ₹24.86 lakh fee for Indian participants includes basic hostel, though exchange and Global Fast Track costs are extra, and offers cannot be deferred.
