About
Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education, founded in 1983, is a management institute at Churchgate in south Mumbai. Its flagship is the two-year Master of Management Studies (MMS), and a newer MMS in business analytics runs alongside it.
SIMSREE does not run its own selection. All MMS seats are filled on merit through the Maharashtra State CET Cell's centralised admission process (CAP): Maharashtra candidates need MAH-MBA/MMS CET, while All India candidates can apply with CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT or MAH-CET. Closing scores for state seats are very high, so register for CAP on time and fill your preferences carefully.

For the 2024–26 MMS batch of 190, SIMSREE reports a median CTC of ₹14.15 LPA, an average of ₹14.98 LPA and a highest of ₹21.00 LPA. IT and consulting took 33% of offers and engineering and operations 30%, with BFSI next. The report does not state how many students were placed, so ask for that figure.
