About
The Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management was set up in 1953 by a resolution of the University of Calcutta, and describes itself as the first institute in India to offer a management programme. It sits in College Square in central Kolkata, beside the university, and its MBAs are University of Calcutta degrees.
