About
The School of Management Studies is the management school of the University of Hyderabad, a central university in Hyderabad. Its flagship is a two-year MBA awarded as a university degree.
There are three entry routes: CAT, MAT and CMAT. The university uses the score only to shortlist; shortlisted candidates are called for a group discussion or interview, and lists are posted on the university website rather than sent individually. The university runs its own selection and simply uses the CAT score as one of the three accepted tests. Graduates need 60% in any discipline, and final-year students can apply.
For 2026–28, applications were extended to 20 March 2026. Reported figures give 75 seats across General, OBC, EWS, SC and ST categories.
The fee and placement figures could not be confirmed from an official source, so they are not shown here yet. Check the university's admissions page for the 2027–29 notification, usually out after CAT results.
