About
MICA, the Mudra Institute of Communications in Ahmedabad, is a specialist school for marketing, brand and communications management. Its flagship PGDM-C (Communications) blends brand, media and strategy work with core management, and a general PGDM runs alongside it.
Admission needs two tests: a CAT, XAT or GMAT score and MICA's own MICAT, which is offered twice; the better MICAT score counts. MICAT's psychometric section acts as a qualifier, and shortlisted candidates then take a Group Exercise and Personal Interview. In the official 2026–28 policy, the entrance score carried 35%, MICAT 25%, the interview 20% and the group exercise 10%, with academics and diversity making up the rest. The 2027–29 policy could not be read when checked.
