Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya runs a two-year residential MBA from its campus in Bihar, with two further two-year MBAs, MBA-DBM and MBA-HHM. The first year covers the core subjects across three terms; in the second year students choose electives from groups such as finance and accounting, marketing, operations, IT systems and analytics, and HR.
Admission runs through CAP, a common process shared by three IIMs. For CAP 2026 the General minimum to be called for an interview was 90 total CAT percentile with 65 in each section (85 total for women and transgender candidates), and the coordinators said actual cutoffs could be higher. There is no WAT. IIM Bodh Gaya's own merit list gives CAT 50, the interview 25 and profile 25, and candidates must clear a minimum interview score to be ranked. CAP 2027 rules are not yet out.
The 2026–28 fee is ₹17.96 lakh across six terms, including hostel rent; mess deposits and a ₹25,000 caution deposit are extra.
For the 2024–26 MBA batch of 320, the institute reports full placement with a median of ₹14.00 LPA, an average of ₹14.80 LPA and a highest of ₹45.63 LPA. The report was published while its audit was in progress.
