About
The Department of Management Studies is IIT Delhi's management school, on the Hauz Khas campus in South Delhi. It runs two full-time, two-year programmes, the MBA and the MBA (Telecom), alongside executive programmes.
Admission is through CAT, and DMS publishes its formulas in full. The interview shortlist uses an index out of 100 in which CAT counts for 65, with smaller marks for Class 10, Class 12, graduation, work experience, gender diversity and a degree from an MoE-funded technical institution. For 2026 the MBA interview cutoff was an index of 45.00 for General candidates. The final admission index splits 40 for the interview and extracurriculars and 40 for CAT, with the rest from academics and experience.
The 2026–27 offer letter asked for ₹3,22,400 as first-semester dues plus a ₹30,000 society fee; SC, ST and PwD students pay no tuition. Hostel seats are limited, especially for men, so plan for housing in Delhi.
For 2023–25, reported figures give an average CTC of ₹22.52 LPA and a highest of ₹43.55 LPA, with strategy and consulting the largest domain.
Cutoff
The percentile of the last candidate called (or admitted) in the latest cycle, from the institute where it publishes this, otherwise as reported for that cycle. Where no actual figure is out yet, the expected call percentile is shown and labelled. This is the reality check next to the minimum.
