About
The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India is a specialist institute for entrepreneurship, on a campus at Bhat in Gandhinagar district, near Ahmedabad. Its flagship PGDM – Entrepreneurship is built for students who want to start a venture or grow a family business rather than mainly chase campus jobs. The programme is AICTE-approved and NBA-accredited, and EDII states that it has AIU equivalence to an MBA.
Students choose a track, such as new enterprise creation, family business management or social entrepreneurship, and each track ends with a business plan or prototype. Selection adds EDII's own Entrepreneurial Aptitude Test and an interview to a score in CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT or CUET.
The 2027–29 fee is published year by year: ₹13.95 lakh for two years non-residential, or ₹16.25 lakh with double-sharing hostel.
EDII's placement document lists names and employers only, mostly small and family-run firms. For 2023–25, reported figures give 69 graduates placed and a median CTC of ₹8 LPA. Ask EDII for current salary data, and check application dates with admissions, since they are not published on the programme page.
