About

What is TAPMI known for?

T. A. Pai Management Institute, founded in 1980 in Manipal, now runs MBA programmes in place of its older PGDM: MBA (Core) plus six specialised tracks in HRM, Banking and Financial Services, Marketing, International Business, AI and Data Science, and Technology Management. Applications go through the Manipal admissions portal, and the school holds AACSB, AMBA and NBA accreditation.

The MBA accepts CAT, XAT or GMAT, and the highest valid score is used; NMAT is not accepted for 2027–29. Selection has two stages: a shortlist on score and profile, then a group discussion and interview held in several cities between February and March.

The 2027–29 prospectus was not yet out when checked; the 2026–28 MBA (Core) fee is about ₹20.1 lakh, with an alumni fee and caution deposit extra.

For 2024–26, reported figures for MBA (Core) give 341 students placed, an average CTC of ₹14.35 LPA and a highest of ₹32.02 LPA.

Cutoff

What is the TAPMI cutoff?

What percentile actually gets a call?

The percentile of the last candidate called (or admitted) in the latest cycle, from the institute where it publishes this, otherwise as reported for that cycle. Where no actual figure is out yet, the expected call percentile is shown and labelled. This is the reality check next to the minimum.
