About

What is SSCANS Pune known for?

SSCANS was founded in 2016 as Symbiosis's culinary arts school and runs one SNAP-route MBA, in Food Technology and Food Enterprise Management. Eligibility is limited to food-related degrees such as food technology, hotel management, home science, nutrition, microbiology, agriculture, biotechnology and food engineering.

Courses cover sensory science, food processing and packaging, supply chain, consumer studies and food safety law, with an internship in the third semester.

The Group Exercise and Personal Interaction are held online, and the timeline runs earlier than at most Symbiosis institutes: registration closes on 15 January 2027 and GE-PI is on 29–30 January. The merit list weighs SNAP at 50, the GE at 10 and the PI at 40.

SSCANS does not publish MBA placement figures, so ask the school for batch outcomes before you commit.
