About
SCIT is Symbiosis's IT-management school, located inside the Hinjawadi IT Park in Pune. Its flagship MBA in IT Business Management has 180 seats, with electives in information security, digital transformation and systems; from the 2027 batch, AI replaces data science as an elective.
Two separate MBAs run alongside it, in Data Sciences and Data Analytics and in AI in Business, each with its own SNAP registration.
Shortlisting is on SNAP score only, and SCIT has not published a cutoff. The merit list weighs SNAP at 50, the Group Exercise at 10 and the Personal Interaction at 40, and the interview also looks at academics and work experience.
Placements lean heavily towards consulting: about half of the 2024–26 ITBM batch went to consulting firms, with IT and banking next. SCIT reports 98% of eligible students placed and a median CTC of ₹11.64 LPA for that batch.
